Classmate Conversation (Wk 3): What type of art has had the most influence on where you are today?

This week I partnered with Abigail Manuel. Abigail is currently a Political Science major, Communications, and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality studies double minor. She enjoys listening to music and going out with friends. She is taking the class mostly for the GE requirement, but also felt an art class would be cool to take. Her overall college experience has been pretty amazing as of lately. She’s done a lot of growing as a person and has learned a lot about life and herself along the way and only hopes to grow as a person throughout the rest of her college experience. He favorite food is anything Asian (literally anything). Interestingly, she believes that the form of art that has most influenced who she is and where she is in life is the visual art that showcases today’s feminist theory and thought. She claims that, overall, modern art continues to influence who she is and what she most cares about today.
